so i just got back from student teaching in costa rica for 4 months and finally finishing up my degree. i was able to do a bit of traveling and have started to post some shots from the trip. there will be more to come, but already i wish i had taken more photos... anyways, if you ever have the chance to go to costa rica, go to costa rica. while it is a relatively small country, the amount of both biological and geographical (physical) diversity is staggering. with more than 25% consisting of protected land, i was there for 4 months and barely scratched the surface of the potential exploration that could take place. also, not only is the country a naturalist's paradise, but the ticos are very warm and welcoming. i guess, the bottom line is that it was a wonderful, life-changing experience and if you ever get a chance to go... don't pass it up.
